Looking For A "Real World" Price...

I'm not 100% positive, as of yet, but I'm strongly considering it.
Hell, if someone showed up w/ $3k tomorrow, I guess I'd kiss it goodbye!

Haha I bought the identical bike above with identical upgrades but 710 miles for $3600. In CA bay area = premium price.

$350 shipping, $200 Import tax (just because), $89 for a used carb (the previous owner made a mess of it) and I will some day have to replace the seat because the previous owner carved out an inch of foam to reduce the height. All that and I am still about $300-$500 ahead of buying the bike in Canada. If a KLX250S / 700 miles listed here for $3600 in the spring time I think it would sell quick. Enjoy your ride, you got a fair deal and a great bike.

I got my 09 sf with 400miles on it last fall for $2500, completely stock (well it had the rear end trimmed up a bit, he did a good job at it I think). Don't ask me how, it just kinda happened, I had just sold my 99 Cobra and had cash in hand... and I let him sit for a month on it because I refused to pay anymore for the bike, at the time I just couldn't afford it.
Good deals are there if you have the patience.

I picked my all stock '09 w/ 1200 miles off CL for $2500 (was asking $3K). Best thing a seller ever said to me on the phone when I asked what his best price was..."I don't know, I'm not very good at negotiating".

I got my '09 at the end of March, 2011... brand NEW, from a dealer, 1 mile on Odo, with 1 year warranty, for $3499.
Extras do not bring extra $ on a sale, so don't count on that to help. Your bike may bring $2500, if it's still in pretty good shape. If you find the right buyer (desperate) you might be able to squeeze $3100 out of it... maybe, if you wait long enough and sell it in the spring.

My 2009 S had 46 miles on it. 2500.00. Good deals are out there, you just have to keep looking. I didn't NEED to buy a bike, and the seller felt they had to sell. It's the cheapest way to buy anything...
