Default Looking to do some minor mods on my Klx250s.....Suggestions??

I have a 2012 Kawasaki klx 250s and I've been thinking about doing a full exhaust along with a K&N and of course re-jetting. Just wanted to get some suggestions from you guys as to what you've been running on your bikes as far as exhaust and mods go. I'm open to all ideas and suggestions.

Hi Jacob and welcome.

Just so you know, cross-posting is frowned on. This is probably the best section to have your thread in. The mods can always move threads if things aren't in the right place so best to just start the one per topic.
Good luck with your mods, but be careful you don't void your warranty.

You can throw in a KDX snorkel for a few extra bucks. Let's more air in without increasing the sound or vibration.

Yeah I'll definitely check it out, do you just have the slip on on your bike, no header?

There have been conflicting opinions on the effectiveness of headers for a while. I have yet to see numbers justifying buying one.

Agreed, from what I can manage to gather, aftermarket header increase scavaging effect (just like large diameter headers in cars) reducing torque and increase high rpm horsepower, but the question you must ask is, how often do you spend in the 7k+ range compared to in the sub 5k range. No one knows but you. For me, I'll keep my torque.

Lots of highway riding like 65+ mph, I would say yes go for the header, the pulling power up top would be beneficial to you. Another option is the 13tooth front sprocket, people say it lowers top speed, but I got up to 95 indicated on the speedo so I'd say 85mph before traffic held me up, 6th gear pulls pretty hard from 60mph onward, really puts it in the rpm powerband
