Does the front disk fit the caliper without a relocating bracket or brake line change???
Since I have never seen the swap done in person, I was just wondering if it's a fast
changeover? Also is a shorter kickstand a good idea or mandatory? It's was just a few
questions I forgot to ask. The reason on the kickstand question is, I might swap back
in forth between wheel types.

Shelby,
that is all good news!!!
Thanks for the extras too.[sm=happy046.gif]
I got my muzzy on today, and I like it. No parts from Kawi for almost a week, so I did what I could with jetting.
I left the stock main jet in and shimmed the stock needle 20 thousand. Two turns on the pilot jet and left the
stock snorkel on. when the Main jet (125) and needle/ klx 200 snorkel shows up I will go farther. I did open up the
crankcase vent to 3/8 (hot tool) and removed / blocked the pair valve. It really runs nice and will give me a good
baseline to go by when the other parts show up. I just not going to wing it on the top until I get the other stuff.
It's warms up better and I didn't see much change in idle from warm to cold. Not like it was.

RE: Look what just showed up.
the jist of your performance you've already experienced. adding a larger main jet will help a fraction on top end but not much. if you haven't felt a major increase in performance, blame it on the muzzy. when i received my BigGun, it went from straight off the UPS truck and straight onto my bike. I did not jet or anything, I just wanted to mount it and hear it. Well, it took like 8 minutes to install and then I started it up and immediately had ear to ear grins. Then I just had to ride it. That's when I found out what the exhaust did to the bike. It was like nitrous compared to stock. I later rejet with a 128 main, N1TC needle on 2nd position, 2.5 turns out on air/fuel, crankcase mod, smog system removed, Uni-filter, etc. Except for the Uni-filter, none of the other mods really changed it's performance after the exhaust. I'm sure they delivered more fuel to the engine, but really no more performance. I also enlarged the stock snorkel hole and threw the oem snorkel in the garbage. But like I said, the Muzzy is what will give you the seat of the pants power, everything else is really just to deliver proper fuel/air to the engine and grapevine performance mods. I mean no one really knows if the crank mod or smog removal mod really does anything, but the latter does keep the exhaust cooler. But that won't even help you out because after one heat cycle with the Muzzy it will be bronze. So my point is don't bite your nails for the rest of your parts to arrive for even more power because it just ain't gonna happen. It's good that you did what you did already but if I were you I'd go 128 main for even more top end. My bike will bounce off the rev-limiter anytime I ask it to with no bogs.

RE: Look what just showed up.
I understand it a mild 250 . I grew up around good tuners and had lots of dyno time even 30+ years ago. If I want more power I would by a different/larger bike. The 128 main will be too large for where I am moving, so I am sticking with a 125 for now. The Muzzy performs well I doubt there is a difference between a big gun.
Maybe I could get my friend to open up the KLX for me?? Naw, I am happy.

RE: Look what just showed up.
I wonder why I have different jetting than most? Anyone? Mine is the 40 and 132 what's the advantage to my setup? The guy that did the work at the shop is also a big bore 4 stroke racer, maybe he looked at me and said to himself, "man we're gonna have to max this out to get his big but down the road" [&:] Oh well whatever the reasoning it is an awesome setup.

RE: Look what just showed up.
yes, that sounds right. i took my airbox lid off and it was starving for fuel as it ran like crap. i have my lid on, i just enlarged the oem snorkel hole and removed the snorkel also. i do think i'm going to screw the air/fuel screw in a 1/2 turn as i think i'm a bit rich, but not til next summer. it's barely 30 here today. brr
