Yeah a 2x4 has more padding. Standing on the pegs a lot of the times works.

Good moisture wicking, non-cotton underware is start.
Tons of stuff on advrider about that.

Someone here said the KLX isn't a street bike, why then does it come in a motard version. I think those were made for mostly street use, no good excuse for the PIA seat on these things, sure some bikes may be worse but again that is not a good reason for such an oversight.

I honestly dont think its that bad... and remember the KLX was based off of the off road version KLX300. Then they made it a 250 and put a plate on it. then made one in sumo trim... So it is based off a dirt bike seat.

+1. Makes a big difference. I wear my biking shorts with chamois (?) lining in those special spots.

Those are some sweet seats! But man the price is too much to justify the expense, sore *** or not.

Sargent Cycle Products - Kawasaki KLX 250

I think I'll look for a pad for when I do long rides and keep the stock seat on there.

I never though the stock seat was that bad. Only after a couple really long rides I decided to get the concept seats kit.
