Agree with the above!

If you're looking for an inexpensive way to make the KLX seat a little more bearable for long miles, look at the sweet cheeks system or the Walmart ATV seat cover that you'll see pics around here. I've tried the sweet cheeks (they are made to insert 2L soda bottles on either side) and it works.

And condition your ****, stand up, take breaks.

I've ridden dual sports for better than 30 some years and the KLX seat is the worst I've seen. I did a 250 mile street loop last summer and it was nearly crippling.

You guys must have sensitive behinds.... I was in colorado for 2 weeks and the only time i had a sore *** was when i took a Husaberg for a 50 mile ride. The klx seat is fine for me.

Isn't that the truth? The Husaberg stock seat is much like a 2x4 covered with a napkin....

Bottom line is...The KLX isn't a road bike..
Go buy a road bike if you are doing some miles..
just speaking for me theses bikes are great for bopping around and lite use..
they are priced so you can go get a second road bike..
Enjoy it...my .02

They look funny but the Sweet Cheeks thing is awesome. Almost as comfortable as a goldwing. I'm modifying mine to carry two 30oz MSR fuel bottles for extra 1/2 gal of gas. Could also carry a tool tube or spare tubes. Mine is a 6.5" model.
