Locking helmet to bike? Locking rear bag?
Does anyone know how to lock the helmet to the bike?
Also is there a way to lock the small bag that is attached to the bike(it has only 1 zipper on it).

insert key into helmet lock to release (remove key) run helmet lock rod through D- rings from helmet back into lock until it clicks.
Go into store, come out and reverse process. as for the bag, your own your own. The only thing I keep in there it the cheap tool kit.....lol just in case. I keep my good tools in my pack that I keep with me. Also if I'm going to be more then a couple minutes I take my helmet to, cause I don't trust people.

Does your helmet not have metal D rings? All of mine do? If you do not have a D ring all you can do it attach the chin strap as if being worn then loop the chin strap through the helmet lock. you should be fine as long as your not in a bad neighbor hood. but even then a metal D ring wont keep the bad guy away.
Thats the best I got hope it helps.

My dirt and street helmets all have had the D-rings though there was one brand that a buddy had with a sort of seat belt type attachment for the chin strap. Not sure how you could lock that one on there securely. The crook could always just cut the strap or even worse, pour his milkshake into your bottom up helmet.
I see the helmet lock as more of a way to keep the helmet from falling off the bike onto the ground.

Helmet locks are not designed to deter theft or vandalism. Just a place to hang your hat so you can walk away for a minute.
D rings, webbing etc are all easy to replace and at a fraction of a 300-400+ dollar helmet.
As for the milkshake..........I'd do every thing in my power to find that SOB and well I can't publish what would happen next.
