I'm really interested in that EBC SM setup that was pictured on ebay. I emailed the guy and asked for part #'s but haven't heard back from him yet.

Me either.

I have emails into EBC & BRAKING as well, citing the numbers tremor gave for Braking.[sm=hail.gif][sm=thanx.gif]

Should have just baught the bike, taken what I wanted, & resold the rest...would be cheaper.

looks like you're the troll on this thread, what useful information have you brought to this discussion? if it weren't for me,KLX'er wouldn't have looked into this and therefore probably would've bought a KLX300 rotor thinking it would fit. but as usual, you got a pat on the back from your old buddy tremor and he was happy to oblige.

I have personally seen successful installs. There are no issues with the holes lining-up.
yes, the D-tracker and KLXS share the same rotor, that's easy to see since they're identical visually. The KDX rotors may or may not fit, but they are not the same visually. They look identical to the KLX300 and the KX series. I wouldn't bet the farm that they'll fit. Also, I never said anytime that there were issues with how the mounting holes lined up. They line up fine. If you re-read my post you'll see that I said the mounting holes are different sizes and thus you cannot interchange these rotors. Now I guess I was assuming the KDX rotors were the same as the KLX300'ssince they look the same but I would not believe that they fit until I tried it with my own two hands. I've held the two in my hands and they are entirely different rotors. I'm not saying the KDX rotor won't fit, but I would lean more towards doubtful until I saw it bolt into that hub with the larger mounting holes the KLX250S has. You see I need to see solid proof of something before I believe it to be fact. But since KLX'er did his homework more thoroughly than you and found out that the bolts are the same size for the KDX and KLX250S, it would appear that they will bolt on. But as I said, I won't believe it until I see it.
Just an addition to what I wrote earlier. Itook that part number directly off of a KDX rotor installed on a KLX250. The PN crossed to themodel years of KDX that I listed.

not at all. you claimed that I said the mounting holes would not line up. I have never said that. My argument was just that the mounting holes/bolts were different sizes. This conversation really doesn't concern you since you don't even have a regular KLX with normal stateside brakes.

Did you miss this?

The KDX200/220 rotorfits the KLX250S/D-Tracker hub perfectly.

D-tracker and KLX250S share the same hub and front disk PN.

Nope, I didn't claim that you said that. Did not mean to imply it either. I only said that I had no issues with it.

Now, let's talk about this paradigmthat things won't fit because they don't look the same. My 320MM rotorfits perfectly and last time I checked it looks nothing like our stock rotor.

nope. I saw that posted info. after you had already postedit. He evidently thinks that I said the holes wouldn't line up; I never said that. I just wanted to let you know that I had purchased an oem KLX300 rotor this spring before selling my KLX and that the holes were different sizes and therefore wouldn't work on the KLX250S. He then had to "C" his way into the conversation by posting information that you just had. It's good to know though that the KDX rotor will fit the KLX250S, because when I get mine I will change it out immediately.

[]Well Braking just rejected my plea[]

I have been in contact with moto master, here is what has transpired: Start at the bottom & work your way backl up to here email style. This may work but I'm not confident enough to spend that kind of cash without knowing going in. The thing is I have seen pics of a moto-master rotor on a stock KLX 650C hub, which uses the exact same bolts as the 250S.

Is it a problem to just use the OEM disc bolts? The mounting holes on
the
disc are 10.5mm in diameter which should accomdate this size bolt. The
bolt
fitment list is generalized for most models, so if these specific bikes
used
different bolt sizes then a KX model bike, it may have not been listed
separately in the list.

Thanks for the reply, however, the KLX 250S (as well as the KLX 650C &
95-06
KDX 200) use 8mm x 15mm mounting bolts to hold the rotor to the hub
from the
factory. The disc you described below has 6mm bolts.
How can I mount a disc with 6mm holes & bolts to a hub made for 8mm?
This
is the issue I have been having trying to find a disc to fit. Any
suggestions?
Thanks
