Hmmmm is does. I never noticed that, and I should know, I think I've seen every WWII movie made.[8D] That tower is probably at least from the late 60's or early 70's. At any given time here in Western Washington you run into stuff like that all the time on the logging roads, I guessits cheaper to leave it at the previous job than to have it hauled back to some equipment yard only to have to haul it again.
Here is another one I ran into last year or the year before.

Holy cow!!!! I bet that guy had to buy new shorts that day. Sheesh. Might as well do some tranny maintenance while it up in the air.

hoedogg...nice pics...my DRZ friend is moving at the end of the year and I'll be partnerless...two of my other friends sold their KLR650s this year and went FZ1 and Bandit1250...so I have already started looking at streetbikes...BUT only in addition to the KLX...I got the rest of the year to soften the wife up to the idea, but am looking used. I like the naked bikes and some of the older standard style bikes..ie Nighthawks, Radian, GPZs, etc...Hopefully i can save enough cash by next spring to pick a decent one up

Actually, they are ghosts from the past..the Nighthawk was my first bike bought in 1987 from the original owner with 3500kms on it, never seen rain, heated storage, etc, etc..drove it for 5 years and sold for $1200 with 15000kms on it, the CB550 i took on trade from my brother on an old car and sold it because I still had the Nighthawk..only drove it a couple of times, the LTD was a basket case i restored from two bikes, but sold before it saw the road ...let it go far too cheap..$250 after paying $600 for the two bikes...that's the one I wish I kept. BUT our pet dog at the time passed away, so the bike went so we could buy another dog.
