Douglas Fir, I think. They grow like weeds in his neck of the woods.

Deej is thata Sequoia behind your bike? That tree is in the background and still looks to be about as long as you bike! That's one big trunk...

Yeah....I would like to have that pic too on full resolution too! Where I live now theres almost no leaves trees...just pine, spruce and stuff like that...I do miss leave trees with all the colors they have at fall. I loved to ride in leaves like that on the ground and see them fly as I pass by...I do miss my native region too. please email it to me. trail70@globetrotter.net

lol... I already use it as my desktop background. The resolution is 800 X 600 at 72dpi, but I can resample it at whatever resolution you want.

Hey Mustang, very nice shots. And I love the classic power lines picture, it seems there is a place like that everywhere.

Yep Tremor is spot on, Douglas Fir. Actually those trees are in the Olympic National Park near Lake Crescent. And really those are just mid sized trees in comparison to others around here. Gotta love those giants. And I'm glad they are protected, but I do imagine how many houses I could build with one, or how full my wood shed would be.

Thanks guys. Sorry EMS, I only have the 800 X 600 version. When I uploaded the pics to photobucket, I had to reduce them from their original 8 megapixel size, and somewhere along the line I deleted the originals.
