Honda Elsinore-This was racing at its best, we had little to work with and had to do the best we could with what we had. No such thing as Supercross!

Default Old man seat.... its soooooo nice.

Bought this Corbin from someone on the forum..... so of course I had to enhance the look with an HMF. Bike runs sooooo sweet for a 'lil bike ....

The Acerbis Unko Vented work much better at high speed, was catching a lot of wind with the stock, these are very simple and do not get the metal mounts, plastic mounts work just fine.

I rode the Elsinore then went to work of the Yami Dealer in town and was sponsored by them riding the YZ's. I liked the YZ much better but the truth of the matter is all we had to do each week between races was check the rings, piston, a new plug and as long as your tires, spockets and chain was good you were good to go . What i understand is that the people racing weekly with the 4 strokes tear them down each week, to check timing chain, cams, valves and do a complete check of it all between races, a lot of work but i guess they have it down to a science like we did with the 2 strokes?

Racing was not cheap in the 70's even sponsored, I do not know how anyone can do it today and not be sponsored but love to watch the outdoor motos on SPEED, to bad Mr. Stewart decided not to join in on the fun this summer, guess he is making to much money off of Yamaha and his Mic sponser in CA!! He is not as fast as he was on the KAW that is very evident to me???
