> Someone needs to post some new pictures. Its in between seasons for me in new York
Around Xmas I got down into AZ around 1600 ft. Practically sea level. Nice weather
Snow level was above 6000'. I went up to about 5700'. Jetting here https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...54/#post521907
Spot of bother trying to get up this road. It has suffered slight erosion:

> What do you carry on those trips? What's in the red box?
The red thing is a one gallon Rotopax with Stabil preservative in the gas. The Rotopax spout has had all the CARB-compliant valving removed so it can be operated quickly and easily.
Also there is a Moose Racing tool pack with a bunch of stuff including black tire plugs, an unopened tube of rubber cement, and extra homemade tire sealant for the Tubliss tires.
At higher elevations it's good to prepare for exciting weather changes, both in the summer and winter.
The blue compression sack is the survival kit if I break down and have to walk out or wait for rescue if injured. Goretex mitts, Polartec gloves, a Polartec 200 fleece jacket, Columbia rain jacket (made of microporous nylon, stuffs into its own pocket), Goretex pants, and some heat packs to unthaw my fingers if I have to make repairs in bad conditions.
Backpack has lots of stuff, including an inReach satcom unit with external battery pack and lithium batteries.

My humble 2006 - Eastside Kauai
Took a nice sunset ride on Sunday. Played a little in the technical single-track here on Kauai. I know why you guys put more teeth in the back, it's tough to pick your way through the rocks with the stock setup.
Plus this thing's a moose compared to my old KX
