LETS POST SOME PIC OF YOUR BAD @$$ KLXs

It did at first, they took a lot of getting used to. With the soles being pretty solid you can't actually feel the brake lever beneath your foot. After a couple of riding sessions you soon get the hang of it, shifting is also a bit of a challenge at first. Shifting is done with you whole leg rather than just your toes. They do feel a lot more protective than any over road bike boot that I have worn.

Some boots are better than others. I find the ones with the ankle pivot (rather than just folding the boot leather when you flex like on my Fly Maverick boots) on them are easier - I have Gaerne SG10's, which have the pivot and they are easier to shift with. Still not much 'feel' on the brake, but you get used to it.

Started off with a new 14 KLX250s summer of 14 (first bike street or offroad ive ever owned)..... i think within hours if not minutes i took the long plastic license plate thing and all the stickers off.
few months after, i modded the muffler, wrapped the header, got 80/20 street/dirt tires and replaced the headlight with a more pure white light.
After a long cold winter of no riding, ive been literally tearing apart the bike and doing A LOT of modding, hope to have it all back together within a few more weeks.
plan as of right now:
-Shinko 705 80/20 street tires
-18inch front 18inch rear
-new handlebars and grips
-removed air box
-replaced with pod filter
-re-jetted the carb
-custom under tail muffler set up
-chopped frame after rear seat mounts
-new smaller brake/running light
-new turn signals
-relocated coolant res
-new lithium iron battery (smaller) & relocated
