Here is a short video that I took with the camera mounted to the cross bar, a little campground a little highway. Its not really that bad, plus it was free, well not the camera but the clamp mount, I'll try and post a picture soon.

Oh when you view the video make the player small, like 3X3 inches, for some reason its kind of blurry when its too big.

I got a www.motocomm.com camera kit for xmas. when I saw the price, I nearly fell out - but she said she paid alot less (dunno where she bought it). It comes with EVERYTHING needed. It's set up to attach to several places (if desired). Attachments for handlebars, rear/side bike mount or helmet mount. I have to say - I'm glad she got me the 'kit' - save alot of time/energy sourcing everything. The camera plug is univeral ... if I ever decide to upgrade the camera itself.

edit: forgot to mention, check out the sample customer footage. pretty funny.

That one looks pretty decent, bonafide. Tell your wife we want to know where she got it for a good price.

NoBrakes: That's the one that I referenced in my 2nd post above. The price is $265.95 + $8.00 shipping. Not a bad price either.

Bonafide: How about posting some pics from the new Christmas gift that your wife gave you?

Deej: How about a Kodak still shot of the system that you have mounted to your bike?

I just did a little vid using my Canon powershot mounted on my bars in place of my GPS. Not acceptable. Way too many vibes, probably in large part due to the floating lens vibrating around. And the sound is pretty crappy - no muffling against wind for the built-in microphone and also the floating lens vibrating around makes a lot of extraneous noise.

Still pretty cool even if poor quality. Maybe I'll edit it down and post up a clip and take you all for a little ride on the KaTooM.

But for good reaults, I'd like a helmet mounted cam, and a separate microphone input where you can place a good quality microphone maybe inside your jacket out of all the wind noise.
