Hi Grahangower! I think it's cheaper buy a Wiseco piston 78mm. (292cc) or 80mm (~310cc) and bore & plate (nikasil treatment) your 250cc. block.

You need a Powercommander as Jeffward says to provide enough fuel to run the new displacement.

You have to know that with big bore and Powercommander you must change your muffler cos you're going to go rich mixture and your Cat. will be ruined. Stock header is also very restictive on EFI models; I don't know if it's the same than carburated version... you may upgrade it to get max power at high revolutions.

The problem of big bore and Efi versions is the throttle body, it's only 34mm. and it do not provide flow enough air for the bigger bores like 331 and 351.

Hope it helps!

Xavi.

Hi Xavi, thanks for the info, I have the Leo Vince exhaust on the way. As I live now in Seychelles, a small island, there is no facilities for rebore and plating here. I would prefer to buy a bolt on kit, complete for 300. I do not want to send my barrel to another country and then go crazy with no ride. I would rather pay extra for complete kit and have my mechanic budy assemble over a weekend.

Please explain this.

If the mapping is correct, the mixture will be correct.

I got the Leo Vince fitted today, perfect fit, straight from the box, no issues.
Feels peppier, even with standard header. Is there a bigger header that fits the Leo Vince?
I am going to try the EJK controller from Dobeck performance{ Electronic Jet Kit } Any one know this product?
