Leo Vince exhaust for klx250sf?

If you're riding off road you should definitely have a quiet exhaust. Let's all do what we can do to keep our trails open.

So I just purchased the X3 exhaust from Tremx.com and once again received great service and pricing.
A couple notes on my experience with the X3:
- The directions say that this silencer needs to be re-packed after 50 hours. The poster above mentioned no re-packing ever, but this does not seem to be the case. Re-pack after 50 hours of use.
- I was hoping for more weight savings over stock but it only amounted to .9 lbs. on my digital scale: Stock silencer weight is 8.2 lbs and the X3 is 7.3 lbs.
At this point I wish I bought the Q4. The Q4 on my WR450 is only 6.4 lbs so I could have saved an additional .9 lbs and the FMF looks better too.

On Thumper talk you mentioned Lambda probe. Is there a specific Leo Vinci model for the 2010 EFI bike?

Not only did the blinker issue exist but there was noticeable play between the silencer and the provided mid pipe. Over bumps I believe this play would have only gotten worse and would have allowed exhaust to excape as well. When an exhaust is bolted on correctly it should be a solid unit, this was not the case with the Leo Vince X3.
Reasons for returning:
- blinker clearance
- still have to repack every 50 hours (contrary to original posters claim)
- heavy
- play/movement between the silencer and the mid pipe
Now we have the FMF Q4 and on the same scale that I weighed the stock and Leo Vince the FMF weighs only 5.9lbs. I'm much happier now.
Same scale weights:
Stock: 8.2 lbs
Leo Vince X3: 7.3 lbs
FMF Q4 stainless: 5.9 lbs

Hi Jeffward, I see you are using the powercommander, what ever happened with the Thai product they sent you for testing. I was reading in another forum, but the story went cold. I am still thinking about the 330 kit, will this powercommander work on big bore kit?

Are you confused, it was not me but Marcelino.
From what I have read the product of Thailand is not very different from the PowerCommand V. Maybe you can have a finer adjustment but also adds complexity to the user. I assure you that developing an injection is not a matter of 2 days. However, much easier to work PowerCommand even have the kit that makes the only AUTOTUNE work set. I would try this product.
I also understand that the problem of feeding a 330 or 351cc is not PowerCommand or product (API) of Thailand, throttle body problem. We do not know whether it can properly feed a big hole, and I think to do things it would be necessary to change the throttle body for the larger one.
I think some in Thailand were tested with +330 or 351cc PowerCommand without changing the throttle body and the results were not very good. She was insufficient flow.
On the contrary if I can guarantee that the body of 300cc injection to feed properly and I would also say that at 315cc.
I am thrilled to benefits obtained, the bike has changed completely and is a real bike. Maybe absolute power figures are not very high (26cv to the wheel, which has been about 29 to the clutch) but I have some results of optimal torque: 3kgm. Few competitive 250cc bikes that get this.
Gradually I've been doing other improvements and adaptations to the environment of use and place where the circle, and the truth would not change a thing. For you to get an idea has more power than a standard KLX300 and more pleasant to drive than a standard WR250F. This latter has a slightly higher power figures, but it is necessary to raise the engine rpm much to get that benefit, making it more demanding at the time of opening gas. The injected KLX250/300 not demanding power delivery, maintains the same softness that's bike series and its dual purpose and can even participate in some amateur races with it.
It is highly recommended a change!

Hi Jeff, sorry for confusion, I was reading late into the night and got you and Marcelino mixed. I appreciate very much your replies and do not want to make a mistake and mess up this bike. If I understand you correctly, it is better to go up to 300, and no further than 315cc. What did you do to go to 300cc on your bike? Does the standard ECU work on the 300?

KLX 250 EFI, ECU de-restricted via clutch, snorkel removed.

Look here to install PowerCommand V.

The installation of the 300cc has no difficulty: I have assortment of OEM parts klx300 model: cylinder, piston, rings, gaskets.
There are many post on how.
