RE: Left hand switch assembly replacement
Dan..is the push button a momentary switch or does the button stay in when you push it?...reason being...I'm looking for right hand control replacement to get rid of the swivel type start button and go with a momentary push button...straight in --- straight out.

It is a normally-open momentarypush button. It does not "stick" when pushed in. (That would be really annoying being hooked up to the horn).
So it is spring loaded so that when it is released, it goes to theopen position.
Ashooked up to the horn circuit, it momentarily provides a ground to the horn.

RE: Left hand switch assembly replacement
I had similar issues when I installed my ASV levers. But I moved the mirror mount inward, brought the clutch bracket outward and removed the chrome jamnut on the lever adjuster and replaced it with a thin jam nut. I've never had any problems. And really like the levers!
