LED signals 2007 KLX250
Hi All,
I purchased a 2007 KLX250. Used for off road only. Everything is there (signal switch, etc on the bars) but no rear tail light and/or signals. I'm getting papers for it so I purchased some LED signals (waiting on the tail light to come it yet). I know I need a digital flasher to replace the mechanical flasher but I hooked up the signals and bypassed the flasher just to get power to them and see that they work. The issue is, if I try the left or right switch, ALL 4 signals power up. ??? I don't get it. I unpluged the connector that goes up to the signal switch at the bar and check the wires down to the four corners for continuity. This is strange becuase the left and right side wires seem to be connected. ??? Nothing looks out of place, or changed from factory. It just looks like someone removed the signals, cut the wires, and taped the ends. So I really don't know why power gets to both sides at the same time at the switch? I can't believe that a new flasher would fix this.
Anyone have some input as to what I should do or look for?
Anyone know where I can get a electrical drawing for this?
anything anyone can offer is greatly appreciated.

The turn signals are finding a return to ground through the turn signal indicator. It is common to both right and left turn signal. It needs to be isolated or removed.
To isolate it place a diode in the left turn signal wire and one in the right turn signal wire. Connect the cathode ends of the diodes together (the ends with the stripe around them). That common connection will then go to the indicator light. The other lead on the indicator light will have to be grounded.
