Leaf River DS ride 2010

Non-stop logs to get over on this ride, here's the lead in to one of the biggest ones you had to get over.
You don't have much time to straighten out before you hit it.
Even though there is a notch cut on the right side, the left side had a little lead up and was where I went with good luck both times.
Gas it!!
Using the skid plate.
Gravity is taking over on this one.

Gravity took it over from me a few times
I have no idea where this happened. I do know I had to keep banging it back in with my knee in the fast field sections. Well now it matches the other side. I do have a set of un-broken shrouds at home, I guess these shrouds will be the KLX's play clothes.
I do know where this happened. This one made me mad. I was barely moving and lost my balance on an off camber corner. Went to put my foot down, unfortunately on the down hill side. Nothing there. Tipped part way over into a tree. It wasn't hard, didn't even mark the headlight shroud where I hit, but must have flexed the gauge housing enough to shatter the glass. The gauges still work so I'm sure I can "rig" up some Plexiglas in place of the glass glass

Here's a treat for y'all, five KLX250s' in a row. klasjm and FZ1 Matt rounded out the KLX crew representin' at Leaf River. Good to see those super nice guys again. The KLX photo op was Jim's great idea (I think?). Jim and Matt may post some of their superior photos in this thread, but if not look here for some great stuff. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...=558056&page=8
2006, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2009
And here's the Northern IL faction of the KLX crew. Dan888, Baldie, Ryathis.
I had a great time riding with you guys, ryathis it was great to meet you, we'll definitely get a ride planned this summer.

Here's another treat? I'll probably post this in it's own thread so it's easily search-able, but I'll put it here first. We had three different aftermarket exhausts between us, so we did a crappy sound comparison video. Baldies 2009 has the P-bomb header and the two brothers can, ryathis's 2009 also has the P-bomb header and the HMF can, my 2007 has the stock header and the FMF Q4 can. At idle all were pretty quiet. At higher RPM's you could hear differences, but IMHO I didn't think the differences were that big. Here's the unscientific vid. If you have a comment on the exhausts post it here in this exhaust thread https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...305#post415305
