RE: Last Baja 1000 For Me!
Kathy,
I dont blame you, I have the "been there done that" mexico story myself. Back in the late 80' the Hilltoppers MC put on a grand prix in Rosarita Beach that was a great event, lots of fun and had raced the event for several years with no problems, than one year it all turned bad! Four of the members of our club were detained by the Mexican federal police for a day (which took the Mayor of Rosarita to have them released) on the return trip home were were shook town at the toll booth by the tollkeepen, then on the long downhill adjacent to the US border into Tiajuna the locals had setup some sort of a cinderblock (beriut style) road block, we ran It! had the window broken in our camper but there was no way in hell we were going to stop. I have not been back to baja since..........

Very sorry to hear that Kathy.
It truly behooves these ******** to do what they do, to visitors to their country.
They will be back to robbing bread from their own people when the tourists stop coming.
Fuuk the Baja, lets go to the Isle of Man instead, better yet, there is a proposed TT annual event for Nova Scotia. Lets try to make that a reality. Join the AMA

Half of those chumps probably couldn't afford ammo with those pieces, until they steal some nice whips. I'm so late on this post but I give my regards to you KK and yours.
Its horrible to see/hear what goes on these days. There are no morals or conscience anymore. As put in a movie I recently saw "All that you know is at an end"
