Yes patrick talked to them... he really wants his tank...... they said a week. Should make some of you guys pretty happy.

Now dont forget, patrick gets the first two production ones made.... so id bet he will get his a little sooner than us normal folk.... take that into consideration.....

I too have been waiting on this tank to be completed. Fathers day isn't that far away [sm=goodidea.gif]I still have a TM34 sittin on the bench as well ( too busy the last couple of weeks ). It'd be nice to install them at the same time

I also can't wait for the tank. I used to run a Pelican case but to tell you the truth I trail ride hard and sometimes the terrain gets downright nasty and dangerous. Afew times I have needed to 'let her fly' like at the crest of a very steep hill that I shouldn't have tried in the first place ! The first time that happend she stopped at my tailbone and a 'step off' turned into some hurt and pain. I do put it on occasionally if I know the ride will be moderate, but I feel more comfortable knowing nothing is back there. I remove the whole rack and have flush mount signals. I use a camelback for water and chow.....

Intense? I'd call it more 'incompetence' ! Where I live in MD you have to go too far to be able to ride this bike there. I do ride it to work occasionally, but the VRod and Buell are way more fun. I pickup truckmy KLX to places in western MD and PA where I can 'dual sport' it, including a couple dual sport runs a year. (Durty Dabbers next weekend). And I bring it to my parents in Pittsburgh when I visit to ride the old haunts, it's nice being able to skip between trails on the roads and not worry about being legal anymore!

I ordered mine just the other day from justgastanks.com and they sent me a reply telling me that the tank was still 2-weeks away, but should be done then.

I finally ordered mine as after the 2+ months of delays I figure sooner or later it has to release, so decided to get it out of the way and let them charge me in advance too. I almost don't care what the tank looks like, as long as it accepts the bolt on parts/fairings and holds more gas.

I'm to used to riding around with a 1-gallon gas can on my rack and riding in places that make it very difficult to keep safe, not to mention the counter weight sloshing around on the tail of the bike... ugh...

I want a new tank so bad!.
