New to this site so let me start with a sorry for any dumb questions...

That being said, I ride an 06 klx250s and I am looking to modernize the look of my bike a little bit. I really like the looks of the kx fenders(front and rear) and shock covers and was wondering if these woud work on my bike?

Has anyone done this?

Also, I was looking at some different headlight options and the newer klx headlight is one of them. Will this fit on my bike? I like the Acerbis but they all look like they are going to be dimmer than the current light. If this isnt true please tell me...

Also, I have been considering the Clarke Gas tank. Anyone running one of these? I ran out of gas 3 times last year and had to switch to reserve just to limp into the nearest gas station.


Ive been browsing a little bit and I have seen some bad@$$ looking rides so any hep would be great!!!

the kx fenders will not be a direct bolt-on but it's plastic so you might be able to fiddle with them. I wouldn't count on it though. the headlight i would say most likely yes but it'll be pricey. A lot of guys are running the clarke tank.

 

Hey Maxx. I was looking at the Acerbis DHH or Acerbis Cyclops headlight too.. And some guys confirmed that the Cyclops would be brighter than the stock headlight as it has two 55Watt Bulbs..

And also look at Baja Designs headlights..

 

if i remember correctly, the kx250 front fender bolts on..... On the NE ride, jimmi had his kx250 fender the klx...

 

I had a KX rear fender, it didn't bolt on. Just get a maier rear fender. They fit much better.
And the Cyclops headlight is not brighter than the stock.. It rather sucks for brightness.
One guy on here has the 2008 KLX 450 headlight on his bike. Not sure how well it went on, but looks nice.
