For the uneducated these links raise/ lower and by how much? Also what was your opinion of them, I rode a friends bike that was lowered with links and I didn't tell him but it was the worst handling modern dp bike I've ever ridden.

Suspension setup is also important on a lowered bike.

I lowered my KLX with a link, and ride a t a pretty good pace in the woods, and I'm very happy with the results.

ZW: I suppose you probably raised the forks to go along with the lowered back end to keep the geometry close. I've read here where that adjustment is critical.

i'm barely 145 lbs...so, suspension setup was critical for me....after a few tank slappers, i tried to do the adjustments on my own after watching some dyi sag adjustment youtube videos...it was better, but the bike still seemed a little shaky at 70 mph+....1" raising links and professional front and rear suspension adjustment...and, it's steady at any speed now...even with strong winds....it made a huge difference to the stability even at 90 mph+...

Where did you get 1" raising links? Were they Kouba, because I only see lowering links there. Maybe I'm missing something

wouldn't the adjustable dog bones on ebay be the best choice? considering you have 0in through -4in, or are they poop or something?

unless you want a raising link that is...
