KLX'r couldn't stop to say hi?
I was at Hodges Village Dam today hanging out in the atv unloading area and a bright green bike comes around the corner, it was another KLX. I gave the guy a big two thumbs up as he putted by went around the gate and onto the trails. I was excited as hell and bummed out in a matter of seconds. I couldn't fathom why he didn't stop being ten feet from me and going 5mph he couldn't have possibly missed me I have the Exact same bike. It was just me and my Suzuki riding friend in the lot and even he was excited to see a duplicate. I guess two average guys with D/S bikes waving at a D/S rider is a bad thing? I hardly ever see D/S bikes around here and have only gotten a glimpse of a red 09 flying by.
I couldn't let that spoil my day so we cruised around the trails for a bit then decided to practice some wheelies (closed road). I ended up pulling 5 gears before I had to put it down (closing in on a corner) I was pumped. it's been a week since I've been for a ride.

I know what you mean.
I have had my bike for 8 months now and I have seen exactly two other 250 KLX's. Our local shop here is a Kawi/KTM/BMW shop and they treat the Kawi's like a red headed step child. They don't even carry 250's in stock. They have about 5 KLR's though. You also see a 650 KLR on every other corner here along with the occasional yam wr250 and a suzuki DS or two.
