ok atm, i have a klx h2 1999 with 39700 ish k's, cost me 3250. now allowing 1200 bucks for the 350 kit etc brings me up to 4450, i saw a klx 400 2004 model and 14 000k's on it for $4,400. the guy lives about 10 mins away from my house. so would be cheaper to get the 400.

now for the power side of things, atm my bike puts out 26hp at the fly, so give or take about 20 rwhp. add the 351+pipe+carby im looking at around 30 rwhp, not to mention the head ache of pull the engine apart again. now if i sell my bike for what ever lets say $2500 and i buy the bike for $4000, i only have to put in $1500 + transfer fees. for that 1500 im getting a bigger frame, newer bike, less k's, a 400kit, carby upgrade, head upgrade, cam, valves exhaust etc. now apparently the dr400e puts out 46hp, so at wheel some where around 40-42rwhp. now buying the drz400e will beable to ride the long distances, as im am join the army next year i probably will be doing a lot of riding back to sydney if i am close enough.

a 331 or 351 will happen, but 100 more cc's and sence it will be all out racer, i think i might go a bit nuts with the compression. the klx is to good of a bike to not use everyday, but some times i just want a bike that wants to rip me off it.
