Default KLX300 Cylinder

Hello guys,
I am gathering parts for my winter upgrade and need a source for a 300 cylinder. I am undecided if i am going to go any larger than 300 but need a jug for sure. where can i get one and what do they cost?

TIA

For close to the same price as a new 300 cylinder and other required parts you could probably have a Bill Blue 331 using your 250 cylinder.

I found the whole kit: piston, gaskets, cylinder, rings, and piston pin brand new in the packages on an auction here in Japan, if you are interested. Starting bid is $450

Like said above, the same price with Bill could get you a 331 kit ready to install also.

Thanks for the info guys. I was thinking that staying w/300 would be more cost effective and more reliable. It seems like the 331 might be a better alternative for the little extr cost's

Are their any reliablilty issues w/331?

I think we may have some confusion here. Bill can sleeve your stock 250 cylinder to 340 using the thumper racing kit for just under $5 bills. If you want a 331 Nikocell (or however you spell it) plated cylinder, you have to start with a klx 300 jug and let Bill do what he does....but it costs more than the sleeve kit...I THINK .

Bill can make either a 331 or 340 out of either a 250 or 300 jug.
Here is an email I recently got from Bill.

"Hello Neil,

I still make the 331 kit for the KLX 250 it cost $455.00 + shipping. I can do the 340 kit I don't know the cost of it at this time I can check on the cost of it for you.
I haven't done any more work on the 350 kit. We just got back from a week in Colorado will start working on the 350 kit again don't know what the cost will be at this time. I can use aether the 250 or the 300 cylinder to make the 331 or 340 kit.
The front brake line cost $55.50 rear line is $33.00 + shipping.

Thanks
Bill"

Well thats very good to know. I just assumed that because he did the 331 kit that he was. Does this guy have a site, or how does one get ahold of him?
