Truth is, I don't know if the klx300 will or will not fit on the 250 ...... I've read about it numerous times and all said it does not fit, however I have no direct experience saying it does not. I don't even know if the splines are the same, maybe they are maybe they are not? Do you know???

Have you tried a klx300 sprocket on our lil klx? You seem to be so sure in your opinion.

Some things I do know
The Sprocket Specialist 13t listed on this forum fits
A stock klx 300 cylinder and piston will bolt right up
A stock klx 300 kick starter will bolt right up
A 340 kit as listed on this forum will bolt right up
A FCR 35 fits no problem and is worth the effort
A klx 300 fuel tank fits no problem except you have to use 300 rad shrouds
A Baja Designs headlight fits no problem
A Baja Designs led taillight fits no problem
A Maier rear fender fits no problem, well a little cutting
KTM turn signals fit on the klx better than the kawi stock ones
Moose Raptor Bend bars fit perfect along with their bark busters
A Guts Racing High Seat Foam and Cover fits perfect
A Muzzy Full System will bolt right up...and if you tweak the mid pipe .... no mods reqd for the pass foot peg
A k&n air filter for a klx300 fits perfect
A Blue Sea systems Circuit Reset makes a great starter button replacement
Stock KTM Mirrors fit our klx perfect
A Renthal 49 tooth rear sprocket will fit without modding the lower chain guard
A 100 watt halogen H4 headlight bulb works fine and will not drain the batt
A Utah Skid Plate fits perfect
MotoPro Springs and Valves are worth every penny
A Kenda 120 Trakmaster II is the biggest you want to put on the klx but a 110 is better
