Default KLX300 "06" & KLX250S "06" FRONT SPROCKET INTERCHANGABLE?

Does anyone know if the front sprocket on the KLX 300 can be used on the KLX250s?

if you go to the Kawasaki parts site; they are different. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the output shaft and different gears.
I changed the rear instead....... the front was a little noisy and wore the chain faster.
so when I bought a new chain I just thought what the heck........ I guess the rubber on the fronts there for a reason so I went with it.

as it turned out formy trail speed- 2nd and 3rd is more usable with a 47 rear (if I really need to gear down,I still have that option to go back to the front with the 47)

Just like jetting the carb....yet after 2.5 years you are still posting threads about it and can'tget the jetting right on your bike. Who's the newb?

Ha ha always comical on the KF
Hey TALLENif your looking for a 13 tooth front sprocket I can tell you that the Moose sprocket part number 1212-0073 fits andworks. $17 from a parts unlimited dealer. There are others that fit, you can try searching on here for other options.

I've got a 46 JT Sprocket that I will mount once my new chain shows up (back ordered). For $33 buck in carbon steel, it seem hard to pass up. And, since this thing is too scary for 80MPH highway speed, more low end seemed in order at the expense of some more RPM's on the 50MPH runs to work.

fingermullet- installing a jet kit and dialing it in is way different than whether or not a KLX300 front sprocket will fit a 250S. Are you disagreeing then that the 300 front sprocket won't fit the 250S? I didn'tthink so-now, stfu already unless you have something worth posting other than **** like usual. he asked if the sprocket would fit and I told him the answer. let him doubt me but I like to be literal in my postings and get the message across the first time. I think I achieved that. I'd still like to see you install a 300R countershaft sprocket on a 250S in your little world. I bet little high pitch voicedgreen men come to your garage and make it happen don't they? I was installing my first 13-tooth counter sprocket on my '06 250S before you had even heard of this website. I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about.
btw, the jet kit is fine now. it was fine in the first place, it's just that my ocd convinced me to tear into it. if you check my initial post after the dj install I said it was perfect. but to me, nothing is quite perfect so I keep searching until I get it. I got it tonight, or as close to it that I can come.
