The TBR M7 is definitely NOT understated. Even with the sound reducing PX1 tip installed, mine measured 105dB at a municipal bylaw testing facility.

Hahaha no I meant understated like less common, more rare to be seen than more popular choices.

the klx250s/sf sounds like a weed wacker, so don't think you can avoid that...depending on the exhaust, you'll just have different weed wacker sounds...quiet q4...or loud two bro...or, between...

one thing about those quiet core/inserts....all it does is reduce the outlet of the exhaust (choke the exhaust)...don't think that is good...

let me know how you like that DG, I'm looking at that exhaust for my 09 250SF. I like the sound of the FMF but that is a big exhaust. I want something that looks better than stock.

WOW, who are you getting to cut it loose for 150$ That's a great price!
Do we have past info here about people using the klx300 headpipe with a slip-on to make a so-so system?

Thanks..Steve

I still have a few more months before I make a final call on an exhaust. But, everything I've read, and I've read a lot, says don't bother with the DG.
