^^ well easier to do, not so much better. You can boost all day long with the proper setup on a carb but its not nearly as easy as doing it with FI.

Also though the guy on the WR is obviously trying to show off while the KLX is being a lot more conservative when it comes to just whacking the throttle.

Not so much better? Are you serious. Carbs can work with boost but come on really. You recall the turbo Trans Am with the carb? The yamaha seca 650 turbo?

I just finished reading old threads on multiple forums about a guy experienced in turbocharging (search for unclebob turbo) who turbocharged a DRZ400 and only got a gain of about 10hp.

Single cylinder engines are harder to get good results from..

If you re-read my post I used the qualifying terms proper setup.

Don't get me wrong, I am certainly not knocking good old redneck engineering. Some things however are better to spectate than do yourself!
If owning bikes has taught me anything, it's that the most cost-effective way to go faster is just to buy a faster bike!
