Default klx250sf tires

rear: 130/70-17 m/c 62s (stock) - 140/60-17, 140/70-17, 140/80-17, 150/60-17 (wider)
front: 110/70-17 m/c 54s (stock) - 120/60-17, 120/70-17 (wider)

rear is starting to wear thin and thinking about tires...stock size mentioned above and listed some other tire sizes i've seen mounted on the klx250sf...i always thought you need to go lower profile if you go wider, but seen a guy running 140/80-17 rear...guess it can work...

we have plenty of tire choices...from h rated to z rated...street, dual sport to dirt....i'm tempted to go with 140/80-17 dual sport tires...wanted little wider to minimize the rear from sliding out during braking...

Dunlop TR91 Trailmax Dual Sport Rear Tire 140/80R-17

keep the front stock at 110/70-17...wanted the steering to feel neutral...thought i can go with a dunlop to keep it similar....

Dunlop GT501 Sport Bias Front Tire 110/70-17

I really enjoyed the bstone 003's in a 110/70 140/70 variety. Check jackwilson.com they had bstone 016's in 110/70 for 56$ shipped. And that tire is solid.

Work,

Thanks for the Jake Wilson link to the BT016's. I bought two of the 110/70-17 and got free shipping. Did some research for a rear tire and found Chaparral Motorsports has 150/60-17 BT016's for 105.88 each with free shipping so I bought two. I might try a set on my SV650 if it doesn't sell.
