KDX snorkel

I decided to put on the KDX snorkel because of 2 reasons:

1) The intake hole has the same dimensions of the hole on the lid of the airbox: hence the quantity of air getting in should be the same.

2) Differently from the hole on the lid of the airbox, the snorkel seem to capture air from underneath the seat and direct it right on the center of the air filter.

I briefly tested it last night and the engine seems to breath better.

DRC rear smoked blinkers

I didn't like the look of the stock blinkers with the new tail, so I put on these DRC smoked blinkers.

In the pictures below you can compare the look of the stock ones with the new DRC ones.

Why is your license plate covered up, how are we gonna come and steal you bike if you do that? Seriously though the lights look great.

Looks good, and alot like mine...JK, I went with clear lenses. If I were you I would ditch that air box lid completely, it really breathes alot better without it. The only reason I would put mine back on is if I were going riding in the rain. (does not happen muck here in So. Cal)

Rain? LOL that's a good one. I live in the rain capitol of the USA with 120-160 inches a year, I've been out in downpours, river crossings, and have never had water in there. unless you lay your bike over for a nap in a riverbed, it just doesn't happen. And even with the snorkel that wont prevent water from pouring in if the bike fell in water, nothing will. Also my advice to anyone who owns this bike, is two things. One throw away that small collector bottle that runs from the breather box, and get the carb vent tube mod in place.
