KLX250SF Header... have a Cat in it?
Hey guys! Real quick... just put on Two Bros slip on my 250SF... I have the block-off plate from Bill Blue... before I install it does anyone know if the stock header has a catalytic converter in it that would get plugged by blocking off the air injection?
I know my FZ1 has a cat in the head pipe and in the muffler can........
I am not ready to order the PowerBomb header yet... was gonna save that until the 351cc big bore kit... or maybe I will order header next week anyways.....

There was all kind of rumor about the KLX having a catalytic converter. and everyone thought it did untill some people started cutting open their own cans and saw this infamous converter doesn't exist.
Now, you claim a 2009 KLX250 California edition does indeed have one. I have NEVER seen evidence to prove this other than people on other message boards saying it does. I could claim I'm Jesus, but that doesn't make it so.
Now, if you could find some write up from Kawasaki, or a magazine or something that says it does, I'll believe it.
Don't get me wrong, if it has one, then it has one. I'm not saying its not possible, especially in Commifornia. But...I severely doubt it does. That means there is one bike for the entire world, and one bike for Commifornia. I would think as restricted as this machine is, they wouldnt mind making all of the bikes and save themselves the trouble of producing two different pipes.
