I've got a line on a 09 klx250sf with some frame damage. Does anyone know if any other year frame will work? For example a klx250s frame? 07 perhaps?

 

I can only tell you that some of the mounting tabs for the shrouds are different between the 06/07 and the 09's

i would say just go with any frame 09 and up. differences are to my knowledge are plastics and some places they mount, brakes (rear rotor is larger on 09, wave rotor, maybe more?), frame design (i think theres a .5 degree difference in rake, and 09 up got d shaped rear swing arm with bolt type chain adjustment, revised front forks with slightly less travel, rear shock linkage and shock?), shift star and 6 gear is different (maybe all gears, im not sure), 09 up has carb bull**** your going to remove anyways, seat, 09 has thicker spokes (and rim?), speedo set up, rear shock linkage and shock?. i feel like im missing a thing or two so ill post of i think of it.
