And if I need to stay awhile, Bumrungrad hospital told me a year ago that I can get in for kidney dialysis no problem. I just need to know if the Kawasaki parts dealer in question is in Bangkok or? It'd be better to just order parts, but the wife might like a vacation to Bangkok...(Oh look honey, a Kawasaki dealer)

 

Hi Richard, I can only help you if your coming to Phuket. Bangkok has a much better supply of parts btw.....and probably will have your parts in stock but call first!!! If they don't understand you, then pm me with your order (plus parts numbers) & i'll get my Thai friend to call them & check availability for you!

The part nos for '07 D-Tracker pieces and colors probably aren't available online. I'll have to see though

The rear fender is unique to the DTracker, while the side covers and shrouds are probably the same KLX pieces as on US parts websites, there's only white side covers available in the US as far as I know and I'd like to get white and black while I'm at it.

Reading through some of my emails from back in March, someone in Thailand said the D-Tracker wasn't even offered there until 2009, and therefore it wouldn't be possible at all to get 2007 parts..

I'll keep digging

 

I think your correct Richard, the D-Tracker has only been available here since mid 2008 from a Kawasaki dealership ie made here in Thailand. There are plenty of older D-Trackers on the roads but they were early Japanese & Malaysian imports & these guys usually have carbs (not efi) with a few exceptions & yes the plastics do look slightly different to mine! People with these grey imports source there parts from private importers or ebay etc.
