I'm planning on doing all of the standard mods to my '07 KLX250S.
My first choice for exhaust is the Muzzy full system. Would this exhaust
still work if I were to do a big bore upgrade sometime in the future?
It's my understanding that the Muzzy header is larger than even the
stock KLX300 header. Thanks.

The muzzy is actually for the klx300. My feeling is that the stock headpipe works good with a slipon and 250cc but is to small for 300 and above. You do lose a little bottom end with the larger head pipe but more than make it up on top. I belive the stock klx300 head pipe is the same dia. as the 250, it is just a different length.

 

Thanks. I'll probably go with the Muzzy. I can get one from JC Motors
and the full system sells for nearly what some of the slip-ons cost.
