Default KLX250h

I'm new to this forum and the new owner of a 07 having sold my XT250. When I went to insure it, it listed it as KLX250h. Is there any difference in the h symbol bike and the KLX250s? Thanks, I've been reading the posts and learning a lot. Who says you can't teach an old (73) guy new tricks.

Ok so the S then is the model and basically they are all KLX250S. At least 2006 on. Would that be right?

The actual designation of the 2007 is KLX 250 H7, my 2006 is KLX 250 H6.
In America they are called (by Kawasaki) KLX 250 S, in Australia they are KLX 250 R. No I don't know why it's just the way it is. For some reason when the 2009 came out Kawasaki Australia changed to KLX 250 S instead of the R. Confused I am

The 09 service manual covers alot of the 07 model. Here is a link for the 09 manual. Hope it helps.

There is no ohm parameters that apply to the cdi. The service manual talks about a peak voltage output check, which requires specific instrumentation. The recognized way to check a cdi is to swap it with a known good one, if spark is there with the good one, it means the cdi is defective. If not, something else is wrong. Few people have access to a known good cdi, thus this way is not possible usually.

Did you check the proper working of the safeties (kick stand switch, neutral switch, clutch switch, e-stop button). It might be worth trying to cancel them for a try (short circuit the kick stand switch, disconnect the e-stop, short the neutral switch).

Default KLX plastics

Hi can anyone help me I have a 07 KLX 250 and need some plastics for it but the only ones I can find are from the dealer at around $900 which is ridiculous, and I really only need the radiator guards and the Headlight guard. Have seen some plastics for a KLX 110 are they the same bolt pattern or a KX are they the same.
