KLX250 ACR Question
#12
What???? If it can start without it, that will be the next mod...... There must have be a hundred times that dam ACR stalled my engine, right at the cusp of clearing that big rock, topping the gully, and I ended up falling on my assos.
Keep me posted!

You've just made my day. Now I can stop blaming my lame skillset and lay the blame squarely where it belongs - that stinkin' ACR.
Now that I think about it, my 400EXC didn't have an ACR and it had a smaller battery, a smaller starter and a bigger engine. Started real easy-like.
I'm guessing that was introduced for the kicker and is totally unecessary. But, we won't know for sure until the OP tells us.

There is a point going back with the 250 where the cases won't accept the later cylinder if I remember correctly. Or was it just the 300 cylinder? The case opening where the cylinder fender skirts drop down aren't big enough for the 300 cylinder for sure, and maybe even the later 250 cylinder. Something to clarify for sure.

Kawasaki would have to be pretty dumb to install a starter that was so weak it needed the ACR to turn the bike over...
IMO
