Out of the box it's underpowered - once you do some mods like jetting, adding a performance muffler or going with a big bore kit you'll be doing wheelies and impressing your mates.

it'll never be a CRFX or WRF. well, with around $2000 it could be but then there's the suspension. but hey, it's not a racebike, it's a DUAL-PURPOSE and thus meant to do everything pretty good.
I wheelied thru 3rd with my '06 which had a BigGun full-system, jetting and airbox mods, and gearing it down.

No wheelies in stock form without the clutch. Like the guys say, the bike when modified will surprise some folks.

well, I put one over on TT around 6 weeks ago. If you're talking about something like you post with pics and stuff, you won't get it. When I ride, I just go and ride. I don't take my camera. I don't have the time to stop and snap pics. I'm lucky just to get out and ride so that's what I do. Right now, my bike isn't running properly so I can't ride it.

The KLX 250 is what it is...........reliable, durable, economical, nimble and fun to ride.
Cheers!

Hey Travis you don't have time to stop and take pictures? What's your hurry man? Half the experience of the ride is stopping and enjoying what is out there, and then sharing it with the people you care about.......you do care about us right? [8D] Plus I'm sure your family would like to see what you are up to.
