KLX250 09 - Rear Fender Alternatives
Hello,
Does anybody out there know of any alternatives for the rear fender for the
09 KLX 250, I am thinking of modifying the original back fender, by cutting the long mud flap part of the fender off.
But before that i was just wondering if there might be after market back fenders out there, that aren't to costly.
Just thinking of the potential for resale later on, if i can buy and swap the fender with and aftermarket one, so i can put the original one back on at a later date.

I used the edge tail light system. Perfect fit.

yep, the edge tail light has a small white led for the tail light.
I started by cutting my fender and fliping the licsense bracket, but recently had that get ripped off on a trail.
I just finished installing the Edge tail light kit for a 09 KLX250s from wheeling cycle supply, and some led turn signals from Procycle.
Much better now

When you say Procycle do you mean these guys http://procycle.us/ | http://www.procycle-online.com/
What was the exact model of flashers you purchased ? Did you require a inline resistor ?
for them to work ?
Cheers

yep, that's the place.
Crash Advantage LED Turn Signals, part# 60-1916C, the C is for clear but they sent me the amber ones instead.
Yes I also had to get resistors. got em from same place.

I trimmed off some of the sides and I cut my fender higher up than most people on here... for the exact reason as above ^^ if you just flip the bracket and cut you run the risk of sucking up your plate under heavy suspension load, and its a bit flappy and loose.
Here's mine (with the turn signal tuck I did)
