Default KLX Touring Setup (Pics)

Good evening all,

I stated in my previous thread that I would post pictures of the KLX 351S with all of the accessories affixed. As I am headed to Prudhoe Bay again tomorrow, she is loaded out.

I have of course affixed the TCI Products Windshield, TCI Products Front Rack, the complete Wolfman Enduro Bag set, and the "custom" twin Kolpin Fuel Pack Jr. 3 gallon rack.

Should be a good trip to the North Slope, I'll probably just get gas and head back. 1000 mile Bun Burner =)

Thanks for looking, I am happy to entertain questions.

I have around 6000 hard miles on the 351 jug. Its a rally machine.

I have 7.1 gallons of gas total on the bike in those pictures. That could push me 400 miles if I am really easy on the throttle. The speed limit on the Dalton Highway is 50 MPH so I get good MPG in 6th gear. The longest distance between fuel stops is 240 miles.

nice...my little klx is pretty much my daily commuter/transportation...with freeways/highways being 65 mph or 70 mph speed limit here, i'm usually at near full throttle daily...about 1,000 miles per month...i'm wondering if the 351 could handle this...

The 351 Kit makes those types of speeds much easier, it also makes 15 tooth counter sprocket feasible. That is what I am running for this trip. The RPMs are about 400 lower at speed in 6th. You can also climb most hills in 6th without worry.

That thing is bad ***!
How much weight can the windshield rack carry, and what do you carry up there?

Probably did that without having to stop for gas too... Geeze, you carry a lot of petrol! Nice setup - have a safe trip.
