I just ordered a complete set of Ranger Bagz yesterday. Should ship today as I had email from them about an address question already, quick reply back also which is nice. From reading on another forum they are a direct bolt on which is why I ordered them. I do believe there may be a picture or two of a KLX in their photo gallery. Pictures aren't the best though as they are a bit "touristy" and not close ups. I will have the bagz before I actually have my 09 KLX-250S as the official release / initial delivery date for the KLX is 20 September here in Thailand.

There ya go! They come in small, medium and large, but even the small one will expand to 20" wide.

it will just add heat to the motor- more air
you need more gas as well- combine with a re-jet and remove the snorkel

I burned up my sparkplug (cuased miss-fires/ ruff running) only doing half.

someone said that the '09 wouldn't be able to pull a 15-toother, think it was tremor. others said it may have trouble. I disagree totally. The 2009 KLX's transmission was beefed up over the old bike. The gear ratio for 6th was lowered and brought closer to fifth making it more usable. I've went back to the stock 14 after having a 13 up front because it was just too low for street duty. Sometimes I reach for 7th gear when accelerating on the highway. I would think installing a 15 up front would be ideal for major highway use. Depending on your weight with the still stock setup, you may have problems sustaining speed up inclines but for the most part, you should be alright. You can always shift down to fifth uphills.
For last resorts, you can fill a 2-liter pop bottle up with gas and carry that. That's what we do when we go to Peoria to the TT races. Bike looks good, thinking myself of ordering the green '09 plastic. have fun and let us know how the sprocket works.

Cool deal. Will you be getting the fuel injected version?

A lot of people would love to see a 1st hand report with pics on these bags. Good luck!

I've had ZERO performance problems from simply removing my snorkel on the airbox. ZERO

It is my understanding that it will be the FI version. She who must be obeyed is handling all of the details as I am in the middle-east earning the bacon. :-) I'll be home around the 22nd so hopefully the bike will be ready also. I will post as soon as possible, Dirtbagz also would like pictures which I thought was cool of them.

Nice. Now what will be interesting is what will running a FI computer mod, airbox, and pipe do compared to jetting, airbox and pipe on the "regular" klx's.
