RE: KLX Sighting
I saw that KLX too! I was shopping in Erie about4 weeks ago - went to Gander Mountain behind the Mill Creek Mall and there it was. On that day they were getting a lake-effect snow storm and there was already about a foot on the ground. For those that don't know, Lake Erie adds a ton moisture to the air as storms cross it. So when a snow storm crosses the lake, it doubles or even triples the amount of snow that will fall.
Anyway, when I went into Gander Mountain, I asked one of the workers if that bike belonged to anybodythat worked there. The guywho owns it works in the back room, and he rides it to work every day. I asked how he was going to ride it home in all of the snow, and they said "I don't know, but he does it all the time". Peach Street was very busy and pretty slick, soI have to say that that's pretty hard core. I've ridden in snow before, but not on a busy 4-lane street!

RE: KLX Sighting
Thank you- everybody already gave me a warm welcome. I got my KLX in late September and I have only been able to put 250 miles on it so far. It's still stone stock, but I've gotten a Utah skid plate, Works frame guards, a Scotts Shark Fin (to protect the rear rotor), and all the parts to make it a 300. I'm saving up to get a pumper carb and an exhaust, then I'll put everything on at once. You guys are a bad influence (just ask my girl friend)!
