Okay, I know that having a place to put stuff on a bike is a problem.
You have my blessing.

If the 250S sub frame is anything like the 300, it is a very weak part of the frame and bends easily. I know of a couple guys that have had to gusset the frameas a result of hard off road riding with no additional weight on the back.I recently alsotweaked mysub frame somewhatand even though I got it backstraight, it looks like I will probably be doing some welding on it to strengthen it up.

Ok guys don’t [sm=icon_rofl.gif]at me to much, but we have a friend that has never been on a motorcycle she must weight about 250 or 300 lb very nice lady I gave her a ride and had no problem rider up the hill behind my place, the klx pulled us like nothing
Cool, but she wasn't sitting on the luggage rack either. The sub frame back there isn't very strong.

That would be wise. Pavement and relatively smooth dirt rodes might be alright, but I've seen the subframes snap when people load them up like that and take them off road Normally, when a bike of this type is fitted with that type of thing, extra frame pieces are fastened or welded to the main frame. There are web sites that specialize in that, but I haven't seen anything done for the KLX yet. It's normally just a matter of them gettting the bike to work on.

You guys are fast. Thats my bike I was on my way over to post them here. I have been worried about the weight to, but so far so good. Also I only use them around town or on road trip without much narly riding, when I go out to hit the hard stuff I take them off. Glad you like.
