Default KLX Night-Glow Mod

Well, after the indestructable fuse fiasco I finally got the look for the KLX that I had hoped for. I've got the engine compartment illuminated in green just like I wanted. I used waterproof LED's that are completely sealed. They are super bright to the point where if you look at them directly they will leave you seeing spots before your eyes. There are only 3 LED's on each side of the engine and I used heat resistant wire for connectivity.
Materials: wire, switch, fuse and two of the three LED blocks shown in the pic.

I'm not thrilled about where I placed the switch. But it's hidden, water proof and works well. I didn't want to put it on my handlebars as they're kinda cluttered with the dual-star mirrors and all.

I'm stoked! Here's a video clip of the final product. Please excuse the macabre, 'Blair Wich' 3 look and the noise in the background of the clip. My workshop is at the bottom of a parking garage and the sound you hear are cars driving above my head.

Oh yeah... As you can see from the vid, I also removed the licence plate bulb assy. and added green LED's there as well. Although they aren't as bright as the Mega TNT Sticks They do the job and hey, they're green.

That's awesome man! But I hate you for having such a cool garage. I could eat off that floor.

Looks very cool. . . . remember that you are now VERY noticeable to the cops, at night. Ride accordingly. . . .
