Good news! My wife and I are building a new house on a piece of property we bought a couple of months ago. Today I went out to the site to see how the builders were coming (agonizingly slow unfortunately). As I was leaving, I looked over at my new neighbors yard and saw a very nice KLX250 in the driveway! Looked to be an 06 or 07. I can't wait to go over and introduce myself. Unfortunately the snow will be about to fly by the time we move in but I may have a new riding partner in the spring!

Awesome! I have yet to see a single other KLX in my neck of the woods. Kinda nice having the only one around since every time I stop for gas, people usually end up coming over to gawk at it but it wouldn't hurt to have another KLX riding partner

 

Just went to see zombieland tonight with a friend and one of his buddies came along also. Turns out he has a 03KLX250.

It has some issues right now but I'm willing to turn a few wrenches with him to help sort it out.

Also got to look at the red 09 they have in the lobby of the theater and anticipate the day mine arrives. Theres a good chance it will be here on the 28th

The wait must be killing you Jim. I just got some tires in the mail the other day. I couldn't wait for them to get here so I could "play" with them.
