It can be done.. For probably about the cost of a kick starter on the KLX.

Cool! On some bikes, like the KLX300R, it's a pretty expensive proposition.

WHat's up fellas.. Havn't posted in a while. Went on a long *** ride the other day for about 13 hours all together.. Wasn't planned to be that long as it got coooold in that riding jersey. Had the trusty KLX with me for the trip, just rolled it over 7000kms.. Drove about 340kms total. That was Wednesday.. What a day.
Anyway, got my dirt tires on the katoom! Holy poop what a crazy beast.. It kinda made me appreciate the mildness of the KLX power for the trip. I have 13/51 gearing on it now, and still didn't feel slow enough. Only tried that gearing in my driveway though.

Make sure you wear all your gear on that thing, I almost looped my adv when testing new jetting on the carb....and that is a mellow lc4. Nice ride, now get a tag for it.

Hows the suspension offroad with that? Isn't the SMC the factory supermoto bike. I would think it would be pretty stiff.

It is tarded suspension that comes on it. I have SX front forks on it there in that picture, and for now the rear suspension is on the lowest possiblestiffness and it's not too bad for now. After buying the bike, forks, rims and tires, and a front brake comming soon, my wallett is empty :-) ...
