KLX 300 piston installation

For instance Kwak: From his signature line, he is running a setup that does not properly fuel a 250, on his 351 !!!! A DJ132 on a lidless airbox cannot flow enough to properly fuel a 250 at ANY rpm with ANY clip setting on ANY needle. The short, aggressive N1TC on the 3rd notch allows the DJ132 to do all it can, but it is nowhere near capable of creating an acceptable AFR.. Yet I am sure his bike seems to run "perfectly fine" with AFR's that likely range between 14:1 and 16:1 during WOT ops !!!!
The dyno testing on the 250cc with DJ132 with lidless airbox and DJ DNO228 needle with clip on the 4th notch down could only produce a best of mid 13's to 1 with most areas at or even over 14:1 . This and much more data is on my threads below..

I had it for half a year, then changed back and found that with the previous setup however there is more power in low RPMs. It's easier to cross a swamp or jump a log, that's what I need.

Kwak, I went back through the thread ( https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...e4/#post542830) in order to re-read your "case file"...
Your situation and your fueling issues do not apply to "the rest of us" as you are experimenting - by using Chinese" main jets with unknown flow properties. Your bike has no tachometer on the dash, and you cannot acquire DJ parts.
Your reports of the results of alternative setups range from "as expected" to "off the wall".. So, as I stated on that thread, I have no idea how to advise you except to stick to the "data verified" and member verified setups.. Perhaps your Chinese 132 main jet flows far greater a volume of fuel than the DJ132..
Anyway, back to the subject at hand - everyone interested should read the threads (and data) available, one of which is the thread Kwak listed..
