yeah well i agree about the rider part all except we just drag raced on the road. it doesn't take much skill. i personally just think it was the weight plus the fact that the klx is meant for the street. it was a long downhill no turns and i beat him pretty easy. he admitted his 4 wheeler couldn't catch my top speed. and that he was goin his hardest. about our weight differences. i'm 180 he's about 120, very small guy. it did suprise me though he was fiesty on it, he could handle the weight of the wheeler pretty good ha. but on the lake bottom his skill showed up cause hill climbs and stuff like that he didn't even try, plus i was doin alot of pretty hard stuff.

Not if I was riding the 525 and Stewart or Reed was riding the klx.......unless it was a straight road.

Drag racing a quad on the road is.....interesting. I had a 350 Warrior my buddy had a 250 Timberwolf. He could hammer it off the line and barely loft the front tires. I ended up feathering the clutch else it would just go skyward (bored and piped). He'd get a jump off the line but I'd catch him quick and run away. I was still a manual clutch noob though so the first few times it was pretty close as I didn't want to just drop the clutch and end up on the grab bar.....again.

I was going to throw in a soft sandy road......but no.....a straight WIDE asphalt road where they couldn't block me if they happen to get the jump.. lol....how sad is that.

Sheit, if either one of them were wearing a good pair of sneakers, they might not even need a bike.

Because he only weighs 49 pounds he'd have the edge.
