Does that Givi over stress the rear fender and rack? Being rated for only 5 pounds makes me a little nervous about putting any real weight there.

My rack I thought said eleven pounds. Oh well i use this thing ALL the time and no problems. You can only get so much in this so I don't think you'll over load it.

Seems like I read in the early days (~2006?) that several people broke the rear of their ride mounting auxiliary fuel tanks and similar weighted things. None of the reports I remember were over 2 gallons so, maybe it was due to some severe off-roading that was done. That tiny rack is is pretty worthless around town as it is so, having something large enough for a reasonable amount of groceries is definitely in my future.

Heres mine Givi, I can put 3-4 bags of groceries in this thing and comes off with one push of a button.

What are the particulars with the Givi top case? Which model and mounting hardware? Any notes or advice about mounting? A small lockable top case might be just what I need for stuff I don't want in my backpack and don't want to bewindblown as I ride home.
Thanks,

I have the e33 it came with everything, mounting plate, hardware, case, it fit like a glove and took about 5 min. to install. One key one latch and fully waterproof. Also it comes off with one push of the button and removed it has a nice plate that looks better then the bare rack. I think I paid $89.00 for it.

After a long searching for a good tail pack that wasn't to wide, long or tall imo. For my 2009 klx 250s. I had norrowed my choices down to Nelson-Rigg Mini Sport Tail Pack CL-75 and a CHASE
HARPER 5501.

http://www.chaseharper.com/TailTrunks/TailTrunks.htm(select 5501 on left column on web site, wont direct link)
The cheapest i could find the Nelson was 58.12 after shipping at http://motorcycle-luggage.com/
For the Chase harper cheapest was $93.00 before shipping, the Chase is very nice imo can collaspe to 3" but price was kinda steep. Plus i was kinda worried about it getting stolen while inside
a store, both bags use 2 types of straps to secure to tail section.
I bought the nelson one, ill post some pics soon, waiting on ups (
