KLX 250 accessories

Hand guards are darn near universal. I have a set of $20 Chinese knock offs of the old Acerbis hand guards, virtually identical in design. Racks can be had from Precision Motorcycle Racks and there are bash plates that will fit all the 250s since the engine is essentially the same and the cradle of the frame is the same. I googled skid plates and they're there, just like the racks.

In that case, no I don't wonder if they fit, since my KLX650 had similar ones on it and they aren't at all much more than a light brush guard and maybe deflect a bit more rain than the Acerbis style. I wouldn't want to clip a sapling or actual tree with them. I replaced them. If Kawasaki offered a skid plate it would likely cost twice what the aftermarket ones would be.
The hand guards would be a step back in protection and, as said, there is a fair amount of excellent aftermarket stuff to fit the KLX250.

Probably is one. The manufacturers seldom make their own accessories, they contract out, part of the reason why they are frequently, but not always, more expensive - another man in the middle.

I chose an Emperor skid plate and radiator guards for my 2018. High quality construction, excellent fit and they seem very sturdy.
